Sweetie Potato Pie

Our Easy Accent® Decorator makes eating vegetables more fun than ever. 

Ingredients

  • 1 can (40 ounces) cut sweet potatoes in light syrup
  • 3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 15 regular-size marshmallows

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Drain sweet potatoes in medium Stainless Mesh Colander; discard syrup. Place potatoes in Classic Batter Bowl.

  2. Sprinkle cinnamon and salt over potatoes. Mash until smooth using Nylon Masher

  3. Attached Open Star Tip to Easy Accent® Decorator. Using Medium Scoop, scoop potatoes into tube. (not all of the potatoes will fit in the beginning.) 

  4. In Deep Dish Pie Plate, hold decorator straight up and down with tip about 1 inch above center of plate. Gently squeeze down tigger to from a star. Stop pressure and pull decorator up. Continue to fill the pie plate with potato "stars" until all potatoes are used. Refill decorator as needed. 

  5. Place marshmallows on their sides around edge of pie plate, on top of potatoes. 

  6. Bake 14-16 minutes or until potatoes are heated through and marshmallows are puffed and toasty brown. Using Oven Mitts, remove pie plate to Hot Pad/Trivet
