Valentine Sweet Heart

With a heart as big as this, there's plenty of room for frosting, decorating and a special message. 

Ingredients

  • 3 cups crispy rice cereal
  • 6 ounces (3 squares) vanilla almond bark
  • 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 3/4 cup prepared vanilla or cherry frosting
  •  Assorted small candies

Directions

  1. Place Heart-Shaped Insert inside Springform Pan. Lightly spray inside of insert and bottom of pan with vegetable oil using Kitchen Spritzer

  2. Measure cereal into Classic Batter Bowl

  3. Place almond bark and peanut butter in Small Micro-Cooker®. Microwave, uncovered, on HIGH 1 minute. Sir with Mix 'N Scraper®. Continue microwaving 15-30 seconds or until mixture is melted and smooth when stirred. 

  4. Pour almond bark mixture over cereal and mix well. Pour mixture into heart insert. Press firmly with back of scraper. Refrigerate 30 minutes to set. 

  5. Remove the collar and insert from the springform pan; place heart on a serving plate. Attach Round Tip to Easy Accent® Decorator. Fill tube with frosting and write a special message. Change decorating tip as desired and make a border with frosting. Add candies as you like. Cut with Bread Knife to serve.

Cook's Tips:

Almond bark is a candy coating that can be found in the baking section of your supermarket. Make sure any tools used for melting or stirring almond bark are dry or the melted mixture can separate.
