Refreshing Cucumber Water

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) sugar
  • 1/8 tsp (0.5 mL) salt
  • 2-3   limes
  • 1 medium cucumber, seeded and thinly sliced
  • 7 cups (1.7 L) cold water

Directions

  1. Place sugar and salt into Quick-Stir® Pitcher. Slice limes in half and juice into pitcher. Add cucumber slices and water to pitcher; cover with lid. Plunge mixture several times until sugar is dissolved. Refrigerate 30 minutes or until ready to serve. Pour into ice-filled Outdoor Tumblers and serve.

Yield:

  • 2 qts (1.9 L)
    6  servings of 1 1/3 cups (325 mL)
