Fun pairing ideas: Brownies and ice cream, cornbread and chili, meatloaf and mashed potatoes, pound cake and strawberries
Softer, more tender brownie bowls: Use the cake-like alternative directions on your box mix. This helps prevent over-crisp edges and keeps the sides soft for filling.
Cornbread bowls: Preheat the oven to 400°F (205°C). Combine the Sweet Cornbread Mix and stir in 1 cup (250 mL) grated cheddar cheese. Add about ¼ cup (60 mL) to each well of a greased Brownie Bowl Pan (link). Bake 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Cool for 5 minutes before removing from the pan. Repeat with the remaining batter for 12 bowls.

SAFETY AND USE INSTRUCTIONS
- Read, understand, follow, and save all Safety and Use Instructions to avoid injury.
WARNING
- • Adult supervision is required when using with children or persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge.
- • To prevent burns, DO NOT use your fingers to remove food from the pan.
- • Always use caution when handling the hot pans. Use a heat-resistant oven mitt or pad when handling the hot pan or placing it on flat, level surfaces.
- • Always use two hands when using the pan.
SAFEGUARDS
- • DO NOT use metal utensils in the pan.
- • Extreme temperature change will cause warping. Always allow pan to cool to room temperature prior to adding liquid or cleaning.
- • Foods such as turmeric, mustard, and those that are acidic, such as tomato sauce, may cause discoloration to the pan surface. As needed, line the bottom and sides of the pan with parchment paper cut to fit the pan so the paper does not extend over the top of pan. Refer to package directions for more details.
- • DO NOT use abrasive cleansers such as steel wool, cleansers with bleach, or oven-cleaning solutions; they can damage the pan and void the guarantee.
CLEANING
- • Wash before using the first time; hand wash only.
- • Let the pan cool to room temperature before cleaning.
- • DO NOT soak. Make sure to dry completely after washing to prevent rust. Ensure product is completely dry before storing.
- • Pans will naturally darken with use; this won’t affect its performance.
- • Only use a soft sponge, cloth, or kitchen brush for cleaning the pan.
USE AND CARE
- • The pan is safe in conventional and convection ovens. We don’t recommend using the pan in ovens over 450°F (230 °C). Don’t use this pan on glass or ceramic cooktops, electric coil, gas burner range, induction (magnetic) range, or an outdoor grill. Not microwave- or broiler-safe.
- • Aerosol nonstick spray is not recommended; it will create a sticky residue which is difficult to clean.
- • Always follow the recipe temperature, baking times, and greasing or flouring instructions.
- • It’s normal to see some scratching after use. To minimize, don’t slide the pan across surfaces.
- • Refrigerator- and freezer-safe.
To use with fudge or cake-like brownie mixes:
- 1. Preheat oven per package instructions.
- 2. Brush each well with cooking oil.
- 3. Fill each well until they’re 2/3 full of batter and the center post is covered. If every well isn’t filled, wipe away any oil within the empty well(s) to prevent oil buildup.
- 4. Bake time will vary based on the brownie mix you use. Check doneness at 10 minutes. If not done, continue to bake until the Cake Tester & Releaser or a toothpick inserted in the center of one of the wells comes out clean. NOTE: If the brownies are underbaked, it will be difficult to remove them from the wells.
- 5. Remove from oven and release brownies once they’re completely cool. Always use a heat-resistant oven mitt or pad when handling hot pan.
- 6. To release, use the Cake Tester & Releaser with a slight up-and-down motion while moving around the perimeter of the wells. As needed, wipe any built-up residue on the Cake Tester & Releaser between uses. Cover cooling rack with parchment paper; place covered rack on top of pan and invert.
- NOTE: For optimal 12 brownie yield, use 19 oz. (1 lb. 3 oz.) package size. Smaller or larger mixes can be used and may yield slightly less or more than 12 brownies.
GUARANTEE
- • Three-year guarantee for noncommercial use.
