Harvest Sausage Casserole

A short preparation time makes this a perfect weekday meal.


  • 1/2 pound smoked sausage
  • 2 medium Granny Smith apples
  • 1/4 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 can (15 1/2 ounces) great Northern beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1/3 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup maple-flavored syrup
  • 1 teaspoon prepared mustard
  •  Dash ground cinnamon


  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Cut sausage into 1/2-inch-thick slices; cut slices crosswise in half. Core and slice apples using Apple Peeler/Corer/Slicer; cut slices crosswise in half. Chop onion using Food Chopper. In Classic Batter Bowl, combine sausage, apples, onion and beans. In Small Batter Bowl, whisk ketchup, syrup, mustard and cinnamon with Stainless Whisk. Pour over sausage mixture; toss to coat. Spoon mixture into Mini-Baker (dish will be very full); cover with Mini-Baking Bowl. Bake 40 minutes; stir before serving.
