FREEZER BOWLS
- Failure to follow instructions and warnings could result in serious injury and/or property damage.
- Do not overfill with liquids. Food expands while freezing and flexibility of silicone may cause hot liquids to spill and cause burns.
- Due to flexibility of silicone, always use two hands when lifting bowls.
- Always use oven mitt or potholder when handling hot bowls.
- Lids are not microwave- or oven-safe.
CLEANING
- Wash prior to first use; bowls and lids are dishwasher-safe on the top rack. For best results, use a rinsing agent when dishwashing.
- Bowls can discolor from red sauces or turmeric-based foods, such as marinara, barbecue sauce, curry, or mustard. To minimize discoloration, soak the bowls in a solution of bleach and water (refer to bleach bottle label for details).
USE AND CARE
- Bowls are freezer-, microwave-, and oven-safe up to 400°F (200°C). For use in oven, place bowls on a sheet pan to help prevent tipping.
- Lids are freezer-safe. Lids are not oven- or microwave-safe. Lids are not designed to be leakproof.
- When using the bowls as a measuring guide, read the measurements on the inside of the bowl.
- To remove lid, gently squeeze the bowl with one hand until the lid lifts away from the bowl. Carefully pull the lid to remove.
- Allow hot foods to cool before placing in the freezer.
To Freeze Soup:
- Allow the soup to cool until it’s safe to touch.
- Pour the soup into each bowl to the 1-cup (250-mL) fill line. Do not overfill.
- Place the lids on top of the bowls.
- Place the bowls in the freezer.
To Remove:
- Remove the bowls from the freezer and allow them to sit at room temperature for 5 minutes.
