Hot Apple Cider
This easy stovetop apple cider recipe is ready in minutes and makes a great addition to fall get-togethers and holiday parties.
Ingredients
- 1 gallon (4 L) apple cider
- 1 orange, sliced
- 1 apple, seeded and thinly sliced into rings
- 2 tsp (10 mL) Cinnamon Plus™ or pumpkin pie spice
- Optional Toppings: Caramel, whipped cream
Directions
- Add the cider to the 6 qt. (5.7-L) Enameled Dutch Oven.
- Add the sliced oranges, apples, and cinnamon; stir. Heat over medium heat until warm and fragrant, about 10 minutes.
- Ladle into mugs with some of the apple rings and orange slices. Serve with caramel and/or whipped cream, if you’d like.
