Deviled Egg Toast

Two classic and comforting dishes combine to create a delicious and quick snack to share with all your friends and family.

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg (10 oz/300 g) frozen garlic bread, cut in half for 4 pieces (tops and bottoms)
  • 8   hard boiled eggs, sliced in half
  • 1   avocado, pitted
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp (15 mL) Dijon mustard
  • ⅛ tsp (0.5 mL) each salt and pepper
  • 1   tomato, sliced
  •  Optional toppings: sliced red onion, crumbled bacon, chopped parsley, pickled jalapeno

Directions

  1. Place the frozen garlic bread on the Deluxe Air Fryer & Oven Sheet Pan. Place the pan in the oven (on the wire rack). Set the Deluxe Air Fryer & Oven to Toast 4 slices to your desired doneness. Press start.
  2. Meanwhile, combine the egg yolks, avocado, mayonnaise, mustard, salt and pepper in the Electric Twist & Chop and process until the mixture is smooth.
  3. When the garlic bread is done, cut it into slices (about 12 slices total)
  4. Spread the toast with the egg mixture, place a tomato slice on top, and finely grate the leftover egg whites on top.
  5. Top with any extra toppings, if you’d like.

Cook's Tips:

Make your hardboiled eggs in the Deluxe Air Fryer & Oven. Set the bottom oven to Custom and adjust the temperature to 250°F (120° C) and set the time to 20 minutes. Place the eggs on the air fryer rack. Place in the oven and press START. Transfer the eggs to a bowl of ice water to cool completely, about 8-10 minutes, before peeling.

To make this recipe in the Deluxe Air Fryer: Place the garlic bread on the racks. Cook on AIR FRY for 7-9 minutes, rotating the trays halfway through cooking.
