Directions

  1. Add a generous splash of chicken broth or water (about ¼ cup/60 mL), a few big pinches of salt, 2 roma tomatoes, 1 large can (28 oz./796 mL) whole or diced tomatoes, ½ an onion, and 2 garlic cloves to the Deluxe Cooking Blender. Set the blender to soup and press start. When the timer is up, press cancel and add in a handful of fresh basil. Press pulse until the basil is chopped and incorporated in the soup.
