Chicken Sausage Stars
Pigs in a blanket get a classy New Year’s makeover.
Ingredients
- chicken sausage
- puff pastry dough
- tooth picks
- Spicy Pineapple Rum Sauce or your favorite pantry sauce
Directions
Simply slice up your choice of precooked sausage and use the star shape from the Creative Cutter Set to cut the shapes into ¾–inch slices out of store–bought puff pastry dough. Stack a piece of Puff Pastry on each piece of sausage, then secure together using a wooden pick. Place them on a sheet pan and bake in a 400°F preheated oven for 14–17 minutes or until pastry is golden brown. Serve with your favorite Pantry sauce — our favorite is the Spicy Pineapple Rum Sauce.
