Vampire Cheese Balls
Ingredients
- 1 pkg (8 oz/250 g) cream cheese
- 1 cup (250 mL) mozzarella cheese, grated
- 1 tbsp (15 mL) Sweet Basil Rub
- Sesame seeds
- blue corn chips
- red bell pepper
- slivered almonds
Directions
- Combine cream cheese, mozzarella cheese and rub in a Small Batter Bowl. Line a Cookie Sheet with parchment paper and, using the Small Scoop, place about 24 level scoops of the cheese mixture onto the sheet.
- Place white sesame seeds into a Coating Tray, roll the cheese balls into the seeds then return back to the sheet.
- Use the corner of a blue corn chip for a widow’s peak and the rest of the chip for the cape, then add red bell pepper pieces for eyes. To really give this treat some bite, create fangs using almond slivers.
