Cheesy Pizza Breadsticks
Make cheesy, pizza-flavored breadsticks at home in less than 20 minutes using just a few basic ingredients!
Ingredients
- 1 pkg Pizza Crust Mix or 1 lb. (450 g) store-bought pizza dough
- 1¼ cups (300 mL) warm water (110–120°F/44–49°C)
- ⅓ cup (75 mL) olive oil or vegetable oil
- Cornmeal for dusting
- 1 tbsp (15 mL) butter, melted
- 1 tbsp (15 mL) Everything but the Pizza Seasoning
- 1 oz. (30 g) Parmesan cheese, finely grated (½ cup/125 mL)
- 8 oz. (250 g) mozzarella cheese, grated (2 cups/500 mL)
- Optional: Chopped fresh parsley
Directions
- Place the Pizza Stone on the bottom rack of the oven, and preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) for up to 30 minutes.
- Prepare the Pizza Crust Mix according to the package directions.
- Place the dough on a lightly floured surface and flatten with your hands. Roll out the dough into a 16" (40.5-cm) circle. Fold the dough in half. Transfer the dough to a pizza peel or cutting mat dusted with cornmeal and unfold. Pierce the surface of the dough with a fork.
- Melt the butter in a microwave-safe bowl. Add the seasoning, brush the crust with the butter, and top with the cheese. Transfer the dough to the preheated stone. Bake for 16–18 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown. Remove the stone from oven to cooling rack.
- Top with chopped parsley if you’d like and cut into rectangular pieces.
