(Note: DO NOT use the Cap when making popcorn.) Then using oven mitts, use the handles to remove the Bowl and the Cooking Plate from their respective contact rest positions upon the Base Unit to empty contents. Extreme caution must be used when unloading popcorn. Always turn the unit over a counter-top so that residual hot oil or water running out will not cause burns. Remove the Bowl and Cooking Plate from their contact rest positions on the Base Unit and always flip the Bowl and Cooking Plate (not base unit) away from yourself, other people, and the base unit.
