Ways to Use

Shrimp Scampi

  • Saute 1 lb. (450 g) shrimp, remove from skillet
  • Cook 1 diced one diced onion and 1 diced red pepper
  • Add scampi sauce
  • Toss in 1 package of cooked fettucine and the cooked shrimp
  • Garnish with grated parmesan cheese

Chicken Scampi

  • • Season 1-1/2 lbs. (680 g) of chicken tenders, cut into thin strips, with 1 pkg Scampi meal Mix
  • Heat 1 tbsp (15 mL) of oil in a 12” (30-cm) skillet over medium heat for 2-3 minutes.
  • Cook the chicken until browned and the temperature reaches 165 F (74 C), 6-8 minutes, turning once.
  • Stir in ¼ cup (60 mL) white wine and cook until slightly reduced, 3-4 minutes.
  • Stir in 4 tbsp (60 mL) butter (1/2 stick).
  • Add 6 oz. (175 g) of cooked spaghetti, linguine, or angel hair

Scampi Bake

  • Add 4 chicken breasts with:
    • 1 cup (250 mL) brussels sprouts
    • 1 red onion, wedged
    • 2 medium carrots cut into 1” (2.5 cm) chunks
  • Top with scampi sauce and bake at 425 F (220 C) for 25-30 mins and served on top of mashed potatoes
