- • Ceramic dish is microwave- and oven-safe to 400°F (200°C). Use heat-resistant oven mitts or pads when handling or placing on a surface.
SAFEGUARDS
- • Avoid extreme temperature changes to the ceramic dish.
- • Do not drag the ceramic dish across surfaces.
- • Placing hot ceramic dish onto wood board may cause discoloration.
CLEANING
- • Wash before using for the first time.
- • Board is hand wash only. Don’t submerge or soak.
- • Ceramic dish is dishwasher-safe.
- • To sanitize the board, wash with a solution of one part vinegar to five parts water. Don’t use bleach.
- • To remove odors from the board, cut a lemon in half and dip it in kosher or table salt. Rub the surface of the board with the lemon and let sit for 2–3 minutes. Wipe the board clean with a damp cloth. Remove any excess moisture then stand on its side to air dry.
- • Using metal utensils with the ceramic dish may cause marring. To remove marring, use a non-bleach, all-purpose liquid or powdered cleanser that is safe for glazed surfaces in the kitchen. Follow the cleanser’s directions for use. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
