TO USE
- 1. Open by sliding the button towards the unlock symbol.
- 2. Choose the tray(s) needed and place into the base of the unit.
- • For cherries or larger round olives, only the main large tray is needed. Position it so the cutout is towards the handle.
- • For more narrow olives, such as kalamata, place the main tray into the unit and then the
smaller tray inside of it. - TIP: Use firm, chilled fruits for optimal output. Softer, bruised fruits may not work as ideally.
- 3. Position the olive or fruit with the stem side up with the stem removed.
- 4. With one hand grasp base; press down on the top of the unit with other hand. Some pressure will be needed to fully remove pits, but if it feels as though there is something blocking it, stop pressing immediately. Readjust the fruit slightly and try pressing again until the plungers are through the fruit.
- 5. Allow the top to lift and remove the fruit from the tray. Occasionally a pit may hang onto the fruit and need to be removed manually.
- 6. Repeat steps 3–5 until done pitting.
- 7. Once the unit is clean and dry, store it by pressing down to close and slide the button to the lock symbol.
