This digital food thermometer lets you keep an eye on the doneness of your beef, chicken, pork, or turkey without ever opening the oven door. The Instant-Read Food Thermometer unfolds so that the probe can monitor the meat inside your oven while the display stays outside, attached to your oven door or refrigerator by magnet.

SAFEGUARDS
- The attached probe is designed to periodically check foods during cooking and is not oven- or grill-safe. The corded probe is oven- and grill-safe. Do not store by heat source.
- Do not use as a candy thermometer or for deep-fat frying.
- Turn the thermometer off after each use to preserve battery life.
- Press the power button after use to conserve battery life. The thermometer will automatically shut off after approximately 15 minutes.
CLEANING
- Wash before using for the first use; wipe attached probe and corded probe with damp cloth and towel dry. Do not submerge the corded probe or the thermometer’s main body in water. Not dishwasher-safe.

USE AND CARE
Before First Use
- Remove the protective film from the digital display.
- Activate the battery by pulling the protective strip on the back of the display and discard.
- The thermometer will read in Fahrenheit but can switch to Celsius, if desired. To switch to Celsius:
- Pull the metal clip out.
- Open the battery compartment by turning it counterclockwise with a coin and remove the battery.
- The °F/°C switch is located on the inner side wall closest to the attached probe. Using the narrow end of a pen, slide the switch over.
- Place the battery back in with the printed and “+” positive side facing out.
- Replace the battery door by turning clockwise with coin to a stop.
- Replace the metal clip.
To Use
- Press the power button to turn on.
- For the corded probe, insert the plug into the digital display body and ensure that it’s fully seated. For the attached probe, pull the probe out at the thin end and rotate until it stops.
- Insert the thermometer into the thickest portion of food; avoid touching bones. The digital display shows the temperature increase until it reaches an accurate reading.
- After the temperature has been taken, remove the probe from food or liquid; continue cooking, if necessary. Wash the probe before reinserting it into food.
- If the thermometer’s temperature falls below 122°F (50°C) for approximately 15 minutes without a temperature change of +/- 2°F (1°C), it will automatically shut off.
How to Replace the Battery
Battery included. Replacement battery: One button cell (watch #CR-2032) battery.
- To change the battery, pull the metal clip out.
- Remove the battery door on the back of the display by turning counterclockwise with a coin.
- Lift out the battery; insert the new battery with the printed and “+” positive side facing out.
- Replace the battery door by turning clockwise with coin to a stop.
- Push the metal clip back into the slot.
TIPS
- This thermometer was calibrated at the factory. The attached probe is accurate +/- 2°F (1°C) from 32°F–212°F (0°C–100°C). The corded probe is accurate from +/- 3.5°F (2°C) from 32°F–212°F (0°C–100°C).
- “HH” reading will appear if the temperature exceeds the operating range of the thermometer or if the corded probe is not properly inserted into the thermometer body.
- “LL” reading will appear if the temperature is lower than the operating range of the thermometer or if the corded probe is not properly inserted into the thermometer body.
- The product function may be reset under electrostatic discharge disturbance. Just remove the battery and then place it back in to resume normal operations.
- Use the thermometer to measure hot liquids like scalded milk. Hold the body while immersing probe into hot liquids.
