SAFETY AND USE INSTRUCTIONS
- Read, understand, follow, and save all Safety and Use Instructions to avoid injury.
WARNING
- • Adult supervision is required when using with children or persons with lack of experience and knowledge.
- • Keep children away from the stove while cooking. Be careful around the stove as heat, steam, and splatter can cause burns.
- • Choking hazard: This product contains small parts.
- • Never allow the cookware to boil dry or leave an empty pan on a hot burner as the pan can get extremely hot. This could lead to burns or other serious injuries, as well as warping or damage to the nonstick coating, which will void the guarantee.
- • Always use a heat-resistant oven mitt or pad when handling hot handles.
- • For use on your cooktop surface, consult the cooktop manufacturer’s instruction manual before using for the first time.
- • Do not remove feet from the rack.
SAFEGUARDS
- • Gas flames should not extend up the sides of the pan. This will damage the exterior of the pan and handle, voiding the guarantee.
- • Do not overheat your cookware as it will reduce the life of the nonstick coating.
- • Do not use on stoves that cannot be temperature controlled.
- • Do not use metal utensils as they will cause permanent damage to the nonstick coating and void the guarantee.
- • Do not slide or drag the cookware over the surface of your stovetop and oven grates, especially glass top ranges.
- • Never place this product under the broiler. The nonstick coating and handles will be severely damaged, voiding the guarantee.
- • Not microwave-, induction-, broiler-, open-flame-, or outdoor grill-safe.
- • To help reduce scratches on interior and exterior coatings, place paper, soft cloth towels or cookware protectors between pans when storing.
- • Pan should not be filled more than ¾ capacity.
- • Use caution when handles extend over hot burners as they may retain heat.
- • Scratching and dulling will occur and is considered normal wear and tear. It is not covered by the guarantee.
- • When using the rack to roast meats or poultry, set the oven rack so there is at least a 6" (15-cm) space between the food and the top of the oven.
- • Extreme temperature changes may cause the rack to warp.
- • Foods such as turmeric and mustard may cause slight discoloration to the surface of the pan. As needed, line the bottom and sides of the pan with parchment paper; cut to fit the pan so the paper does not extend over the top of pan. Refer to package directions for more details.
CLEANING
- • Wash before using for the first time; the pan is hand wash only. The rack is dishwasher-safe.
- • Thoroughly clean after every use. Dry completely before storing.
- • Do not use abrasive cleaners like steel wool, scouring pads, harsh detergents, oven cleaners, or detergents containing chlorine bleach.
USE AND CARE
- • Cookware may be used on a glass or ceramic cooktop, electric coil, or gas burner ranges. Exterior surfaces of cookware and glass top and ceramic cooking surfaces should be clean and free of food residue before heating. Consult your stove manufacturer’s instructions for details.
- • Most cooktops have two different size burners. Always match diameter of cookware to glass top and ceramic cook top burner diameters and position the vessel centrally over the burners. Burner diameter should not extend beyond the base of the cookware.
- • Cookware is intended to be used on low and medium heat settings and medium-high heat for short intervals. Prolonged use at higher heat settings will void the guarantee.
- • Low heat: Simmering liquids, warming food, and preparing delicate sauces.
- • Medium heat: Preheating, sautéing, searing, frying, and stir-frying.
- • High heat: Boiling and reducing liquids only.
- • Preheating should not exceed 3–5 minutes.
- • The cookware and rack is oven-safe to 450°F (250°C).
- • Do not use nonstick sprays on the cookware as they cause an invisible buildup and impair the nonstick coating performance. Do not overheat oil, butter, or shortening. This will create a sticky residue that will affect the release of the nonstick coating and result in a reduced life of the coating.
GUARANTEE
- • 10-year guarantee for noncommercial use. Refer to our website or the sales receipt for details.
