Cheeseburger Pizza

With all the flavors of your favorite fast-food sandwich, you’ll love this pizza!


  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 package (6 1/2 ounces) Pizza Crust Mix
  • 1/2 cup hot water
  •  All-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon cornmeal
  • 1/2 cup dill or sweet pickle slices (about 20 slices)
  • 2 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded (1/2 cup)
  • 2 ounces mozzarella cheese, shredded (1/2 cup)


  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. On Cutting Board, cut onion into small chunks using Quikut Paring Knife then coarsely chop using Food Chopper

  2. Place ground beef and onion in (10-in.) Skillet. Cook over medium heat 8-10 minutes or until beef is no longer pink, breaking beef into small crumbles using Bamboo Spoon. Drain off drippings and return to skillet. Stir in pizza sauce. 

  3. In Classic Batter Bowl, combine pizza crust mix and hot water. Stir with Bamboo Spoon until moistened. Continue to stir vigorously about 25 strokes. Cover with lid and let stand 5 minutes in a warm place. Sprinkle a small amount of flour over cutting board and knead the dough 10-12 times or until dough is smooth.

  4. Sprinkle cornmeal over Medium Round Stone with Handles. Place dough in center of Baking Stone. Using Baker's Roller®, lightly sprinkled with flour, roll dough into 12-inch circle.

  5. Spread beef mixture over dough to within 1/4 inch of edge; top evenly with pickle slices. 

  6. Using Rotary Grater, shred cheeses evenly over pizza. Place Stone in Oven-To-Table Rack.

  7. Bake on bottom rack of oven 18-20 minutes or until crust is golden brown. Using Oven Mitts, remove from oven. Cut into weges using Pizza Cutter
