With all the flavors of your favorite fast-food sandwich, you’ll love this pizza!
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 1 package (6 1/2 ounces) Pizza Crust Mix
- 1/2 cup hot water
- All-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon cornmeal
- 1/2 cup dill or sweet pickle slices (about 20 slices)
- 2 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded (1/2 cup)
- 2 ounces mozzarella cheese, shredded (1/2 cup)
Place ground beef and onion in (10-in.) Skillet. Cook over medium heat 8-10 minutes or until beef is no longer pink, breaking beef into small crumbles using Bamboo Spoon. Drain off drippings and return to skillet. Stir in pizza sauce.
In Classic Batter Bowl, combine pizza crust mix and hot water. Stir with Bamboo Spoon until moistened. Continue to stir vigorously about 25 strokes. Cover with lid and let stand 5 minutes in a warm place. Sprinkle a small amount of flour over cutting board and knead the dough 10-12 times or until dough is smooth.
Spread beef mixture over dough to within 1/4 inch of edge; top evenly with pickle slices.
Using Rotary Grater, shred cheeses evenly over pizza. Place Stone in Oven-To-Table Rack.
