Bacon & Cheddar Football
Catch a touchdown on Game Day with this football cheeseball!
Ingredients
- 1 cup (250 mL) pretzel twists or 4 slices cooked bacon
- 1 pkg (8 oz/250 g) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup (250 mL) shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 tbsp (15 mL) Smoky Barbecue Rub or your favorite seasoning
- Sour cream for topping
Directions
- Process the bacon or pretzels in the Electric Twist & Chop until chopped. Remove from the bowl. Add the cream cheese, cheddar, green onions and seasoning to the bowl and process until smooth. Form cheese mixture into football shape on a platter; coat with bacon or pretzel crumbs. Pipe the sour cream on top of the football to look like laces. Serve with crackers and additional pretzels, if you’d like.
