Champagne Toast Cups

Why should kids be the only ones to enjoy jiggly gelatin treats? This adults-only version is infused with fizzy champagne for a party treat worth toasting about. (Pssst ... you can make a kid-friendly batch with sparkling white grape juice!)  


  • 2 envelopes 1 oz (30 g) unflavored gelatin
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) granulated sugar
  • 2 cups (500 mL) champagne or white sparkling grape juice
  •  Colored sugar crystals (optional)


  1. In a 1 qt. (1 L) Micro-Cooker, mix unflavored gelatin with granulated sugar. Stir in champagne or white sparkling grape juice and allow to stand 3 minutes or until gelatin is incorporated and carbonation dissipates. Microwave, covered, on HIGH 3 minutes or until gelatin and sugar are dissolved, stirring after each minute (the mixture will be hot). Pour into a Mini Muffin Pan and let the pan sit at room temperature 15 minutes. Refrigerate 1 hour or until firm. Unmold and remove with the releasing end of the Cake Tester & Releaser. Sprinkle with colored sugar crystals immediately before serving.
