Create-a-Party Dip, Goat Cheese Marinara

Ingredients

  • 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 garlic clove, pressed
  • 4 ounces crumbled goat cheese
  • 1 cup marinara or pizza sauce
  • 1 jar (6 ounces) marinated artichoke hearts, drained, patted dry and chopped
  • 2 tablespoons snipped fresh basil leaves
  • Rosemary Pita Crisps (optional)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. In Small Batter Bowl, combine cream cheese and garlic. Add goat cheese; mix until well blended. Spread onto bottom of Mini-Baker.

  2. Spoon sauce over cheese. Sprinkle evenly with artichoke hearts and peppers.

  3. Bake 22-25 minutes or until dip is heated through and outside edge is bubbly. Sprinkle with basil before serving, if desired. Serve warm with Rosemary Pita Chips, if desired.

  • 3 1/2 cups
    14  servings of 1/4 cup dip

Cook's Tips:

This recipe can be easily doubled and baked in the Deep Covered Baker, if desired. Bake at 350°F 25-30 minutes or until heated through.

Goat cheese is a white goat's milk cheese noted for its distinctive tart flavor. If desired, 4 ounces of cream cheese can be substituted for the goat cheese.
