Ingredients

  • 1 cup (250 mL) quick cooking oats
  • ¼ cup (60 mL) nut butter
  • ¼ cup (60 mL) honey
  • ¼ tsp (1 mL) ground cinnamon
    Mix-Ins (¾ cup/180 mL total):
  • ¼ cup (60 mL) chopped nuts or seeds
  • ¼ cup (60 mL) mini chocolate chips or mini candy-coated chocolate candies
  • ¼ cup (60 mL) dried fruit or crushed pretzels or sweetened coconut

Directions

  1. Add the oats and mix-ins to a large mixing bowl and stir to combine.
  2. Add the nut butter, honey, and cinnamon to the oat mixture.
  3. Mix everything together until it’s combined and it holds together when you squeeze it in your hand. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  4. Roll into about 1 tbsp (15 mL) sized balls. Chill in the refrigerator until firm, about 30 minutes.
  5. Store in the fridge for up to 5 days or in the freezer for up to 3 months. Defrost in the fridge before serving.
