No-Bake Energy Bites
Ingredients
- 1 cup (250 mL) quick cooking oats
- ¼ cup (60 mL) nut butter
- ¼ cup (60 mL) honey
- ¼ tsp (1 mL) ground cinnamon
- Mix-Ins (¾ cup/180 mL total):
- ¼ cup (60 mL) chopped nuts or seeds
- ¼ cup (60 mL) mini chocolate chips or mini candy-coated chocolate candies
- ¼ cup (60 mL) dried fruit or crushed pretzels or sweetened coconut
Directions
- Add the oats and mix-ins to a large mixing bowl and stir to combine.
- Add the nut butter, honey, and cinnamon to the oat mixture.
- Mix everything together until it’s combined and it holds together when you squeeze it in your hand. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Roll into about 1 tbsp (15 mL) sized balls. Chill in the refrigerator until firm, about 30 minutes.
- Store in the fridge for up to 5 days or in the freezer for up to 3 months. Defrost in the fridge before serving.
