Prep Board FAQ
• Each container can hold up to 2 lbs. (1 kg), which is roughly 5 cups (1.2 L).
• Do not use more than two containers at once.
• More containers are available for purchase to use with the Prep & Store System and for extra storage or to have on hand for switching out full containers during prep.
• To remove odors, cut a lemon in half and dip it in kosher salt. Then, rub the surface of the board with the lemon and let it sit for 2–3 minutes. Wipe the board clean with a damp cloth.
• Make sure the cutting board is on a flat, dry, and stable surface with nothing on top of it.
• Align the ends of the wire holder with the holes on the front or side of the cutting board. The wire holders can go on either the front or the side.
• Angle the wire holder up and insert it into the cutting board. While pushing it in, push down slightly on the wire holder.
• Once the wire holder is installed, insert the prep container into wire holder until the prep container is in place. Then, make sure the prep container is fully pushed against the cutting board.
• Repeat those steps with the other wire holder and prep container.
• The Prep Board includes a polypropylene cutting board, two wire racks, and two 5-cup (1.2-L) prep containers with vented lids.
• It does not include the Store & Serve.
