1 (39g) package Tuscan Herb Chicken Seasoning Mix 4 medium carrots, chopped 6 cups (1.5 L) water or chicken broth, divided ¾ cup (175 mL) frozen peas 1 tbsp (15 mL) vegetable oil 5 premade biscuits, cut into 8 pieces each 2 lbs. (1 kg) boneless skinless chicken breasts
Pressure Cooker Instructions
- 1. Whisk the Seasoning Mix and 4 cups (1 L) of water or broth together in a large bowl.
- 2. To an electric pressure cooker add:
- 2 lbs. (1 kg) boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 4 medium carrots, chopped
- Seasoning / water
- 3. Cook on the SOUP/STOCK setting for 6 minutes. When the timer is up, naturally release the pressure for 10 minutes.
- 4. Remove the chicken from the pot and chop. Stir in ¾ cup (175 mL) frozen peas and 2 cups (500 mL) water or broth.
- 5. Bring to a simmer on the SEAR setting and drop in 5 premade biscuits, cut into 8 pieces each. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the biscuits are cooked through, 4–6 minutes. Return the chicken to the pot and serve.
Stovetop Instructions
- 1. Whisk the Seasoning Mix and 4 cups (1 L) of water or broth together in a large bowl.
- 2. Add to a large pot:
- 2 lbs. (1 kg) boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 4 medium carrots, chopped
- Seasoning / water
- 3. Bring to a simmer. Cook until the chicken reaches 165°;F (74°C), 14–16 minutes.
- 4. Remove the chicken from the pot and chop. Stir in ¾ cup (175 mL) peas and bring to a simmer. Drop in 5 premade biscuits, cut into 8 pieces each and cook, stirring occasionally until the biscuits are cooked through, 4–6 minutes. Return the chicken to the pot and serve.
Ingredients: Corn starch, salt, spices (basil, thyme, parsley, rosemary, black pepper, oregano, bay), dehydrated onion, dehydrated garlic, garlic powder, dehydrated celery, yeast extract, canola oil, xanthan gum, silicon dioxide (anti-caking agent).
