Ingredients

  •  Oil for greasing
  • ½ cup (125 mL) butter (1 stick)
  • 1 cup (250 mL) sugar
  • 2   eggs
  • 1 tsp (5 mL) vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup (175 mL) flour
  • ¼ cup (60 mL) cocoa powder
  • ½ tsp (2 mL) salt
  • ½ cup (125 mL) chocolate chips or chopped nuts
  • 1 cup (250 mL) prepared fudge frosting
  • 3-4   strawberries, stemmed
  •  Rainbow sprinkles

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350° F (175°C) and brush the pan with oil.
  2. Melt the butter in a large microwave-safe bowl. Add the sugar, eggs, and vanilla to the bowl. Whisk until smooth.
  3. Add the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and chocolate chips or chopped nuts, if you’d like. Mix until well combined.
  4. Pour the batter into the pan and spread evenly. Bake for 27–30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted 1" (2.5 cm) from the edge comes out clean. Cool completely on a wire rack.
  5. Slice the strawberries with the Serrated Nylon Knife.
  6. Spread the frosting onto the cooled brownie. Place the strawberries onto the brownies while the frosting is still wet and top with sprinkles.
  7. Use the Serrated Nylon Knife to slice the brownies.
