Melody of Berries Pie
Perfectly tart and sweet, this berry pie can be made all year long by using frozen berries! Switch it up by using your favorite berries or a combo...
Ingredients
- 1 package (16 ounces/450 g) mixed frozen berries, thawed and drained* see cook’s tips
- ¾ cup (175 mL) sugar
- ¼ cup (60 mL) cornstarch
- Zest of 1 lemon, optional
- 1 prepared pie crust
- 2 tbsp (30 mL) butter, cut into small cubes
- 1 tbsp (15 mL) heavy cream
- tbsp (15 mL) course sugar for sprinkling, optional
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Combine the thawed and drained berries with the sugar, cornstarch, and lemon zest, if using.
- Lay the pie crust in the Half Pie Pan with half of the crust draping over the straight side of the pan.
- Pour the berry mixture into the crust. Sprinkle the butter cubes on top. Fold over the top of the crust. Crimp the edges together and cut slits into the center of the pie for venting.
- Brush with the heavy cream and sprinkle with the sugar, if using. Bake for 35-38 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbling* see cook’s tips.
- Cool before serving.

Cook's Tips:
To prepare in the Deluxe Air Fryer & Oven, set the oven to Conv. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 37 minutes. Rotate halfway through baking and tent the pie as necessary.
You can use all of one berry or a combo of your favorites.
Tent the pie with foil if it’s browning too much.
Place a pan under the pie to catch any drips.
