Apple Cranberry Tarts

Apple pie filling and cranberries come together in these simple tarts, making them a festive bite for lunch, dessert, or a holiday snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup apple pie filling
  • 1/2 teaspoon Korintje Cinnamon, divided
  • 3 tablespoons dried cranberries
  • 1 package (15 ounces) refrigerated pie crusts (2 crusts)
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 tablespoon sugar

Directions

  1. Preheat the Deluxe Air Fryer & Oven to Conv Bake for 20 minutes. Place pie filling in Small Batter Bowl. Use a Spatula or a Mix ‘N Chop to chop up the pie filling. Stir in 1/4 tsp (1 mL) cinnamon and cranberries.

  2. Unroll both pie crusts on a lightly floured surface and roll them out slightly. and roll them out slightly. Using the Medium Scoop, place 7 scoops (2 tbsp (30 mL each) pie filling onto 1 pie crust, spaced out evenly. Top with the second pie crust. Using a lightly floured Cut ‘N Seal, cut out 7 tarts, centering the filling for each.
  3. Brush tops of tarts with melted butter. Place on 2 greased Air Fryer Racks. Combine sugar and remaining cinnamon; sprinkle evenly over tarts. Bake 20 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from the Air Fryer and let cool for at least 5 minutes.

Yield:

  • 7 tarts

Cook’s Tip: You can bake these in the oven at 375 for 20-22 minutes.
