Quick Cooker Stackable Steaming Rack
The Quick Cooker Stackable Steaming Rack holds up to 12 eggs or three 1-cup Prep Bowls. The rack is designed with holes, so you can easily steam eggs, pot stickers, dumplings, and even meatballs. The holes keep round foods from rolling, so eggs don’t crack, and pot stickers don’t stick together.

- Before using, review the Quick Cooker use and care.
- Only use Pampered Chef authorized accessories in the Quick Cooker. Do not use the white lids sold with the 1-cup (250-mL) Prep Bowl Set in the Quick Cooker.
- Only to be used in Pampered Chef’s Quick Cooker. Do not use in other pressure cookers.
- Do not use if the product or the Quick Cooker are damaged.
- These racks and their contents can cause serious burns if handled improperly. Always use heat-resistant oven mitts when handling hot handles.
- Be sure the racks and their contents are seated far enough down in the Quick Cooker so as not to obstruct vents under the lid.
- The Stackable Steaming Racks must fit completely below the rim of the Quick Cooker’s inner pot.
- Never force the Quick Cooker lid down. Ensure the lid is in the lock position prior to starting the Quick Cooker.
- Allow food to sit for at least 5 minutes after cooking.
- Use caution when transporting the racks from the Quick Cooker to ensure you don’t spill hot foods.
- The racks are intended for use only with Pampered Chef’s 1-cup (250-ml) Prep Bowl Set, and no other size or bowl.
- Protect countertops and other surfaces with a trivet before setting down a hot rack.
SAFEGUARDS
- Do not use in the oven, microwave, broiler, or outdoor barbecue grill. Do not use directly on the stovetop or another direct heat source.
- Metal utensils may scratch the surface of the racks. This is normal and occurs with all stainless steel products.

ASSEMBLY
- To assemble, place the bent ends of the handles into the corresponding holes in the plates. You may have to stretch the handle to reach both holes. Make sure the small, bent portion of the leg goes all the way through the slot. See illustration.
CLEANING
- Wash before using for the first time; dishwasher-safe. Hand washed preferred.
- Dry thoroughly. Do not soak.
TO USE WITH THE QUICK COOKER
To make hard-boiled eggs:
Note: Before cooking, position the Quick Cooker with the steam-release valve away from any overhang or walls.
- Pour 1 cup (250 mL) of water into the inner pot of the Quick Cooker. Lower one Stackable Steaming Rack into the inner pot. Arrange 6 or 12 eggs on the holes of the plate.
- If you’re making 24 eggs, place a second rack on top of the first, ensuring that the plate of the top rack is completely supported by the handles of the lower rack. See warnings.
- Arrange another 12 eggs on the holes of the top plate.
- Lock the lid and select the CUSTOM setting. Adjust the time based on the chart below and the number of eggs. Select the highest pressure setting and press START.

- While eggs are cooking, prepare an ice bath.
- When the timer is up, press CANCEL. Press the steam release button to manually release the pressure. Keep everything away from the steam-release valve while the unit is in operation or while the unit is venting including hands, face, and body.
Note: Do not leave eggs in the Quick Cooker after the cooking time is up. Remove them immediately.
Note: Use extreme caution when removing the lid. Always open the lid away from you to avoid contact with any heat or steam. - Carefully lift the handles of the racks upright with tongs or a fork. Then, use heat-resistant oven mitts to gently lift the rack out of the Quick Cooker.
- Place the cooked eggs into an ice bath and let them cool before peeling, serving, or storing.
To use with 1-cup (250-ml) Prep Bowl Set:
WARNING: Avoid sudden temperature changes, such as adding refrigerated or frozen foods to heated prep bowls or placing prep bowls in cold water after cooking.
Note: Before cooking, position the Quick Cooker with the steam-release valve away from any overhang or walls.
- Fill the bowls no more than ⅔ full and cover with the stretch-fit lids, if desired. Do not use the white storage lids.
- Pour 1 cup (250 mL) of water into the inner pot of the Quick Cooker. Lower one Stackable Steaming Rack into the inner pot. Arrange 3 bowls on the plate, using the holes as a guide.
- If you’re using 6 bowls, place a second rack on top of the first, ensuring that the plate of the top rack is completely supported by the handles of the lower rack. See warnings.
- Arrange another 3 bowls on the holes of the top plate.
- Lock the lid and adjust the time and pressure according to your recipe.
- Place the Quick Cooker lid on and set the time based on the recipe.
