This classic gray pan has a light-colored enameled interior, which means you can start using it right away—no seasoning required—and it lets you easily see food browning so you can avoid scorching it. Plus, cast iron’s excellent heat retention means that food and liquids stay hot and delicious while serving.

- This item is not a toy. Care should be taken during use. Adult supervision is recommended.
- Not intended for use by or near children or persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge.
- Always use two hands when handling this product.
- Be careful around the stove as heat, steam, and splatter can cause burns.
- Never leave a hot pan unattended.
- Flames should not extend up the sides of the pan.
- When using the pan, handles, and/or lid, always use heat-resistant oven mitts or pads when handling or placing on surfaces.
SAFEGUARDS
- For use on induction, flat glass, or ceramic cooktop surfaces consult the cooking appliance manufacturer’s instruction manual before using product for the first time.
- Handle with care on stovetop surfaces.
- Do not slide the pan while using on a stovetop, and always remove it from your stovetop after cooking.
- Always use a heat-resistant barrier when placing a hot enameled cast iron on a non-heated surface.
- Do not let the pan soak in water.
- Do not use in a freezer, microwave, on a grill, campfire or under the broiler.
- Make sure the pan comes to room temperature before placing in the refrigerator or reheating after refrigeration. Avoid exposing enameled cast iron to extreme temperature changes.
- Do not use with metal utensils.
- Do not use with handheld mixers and metal beaters.
- Enameled cast iron is very durable but may be damaged if accidentally dropped or knocked against a hard surface. Please note that this is not covered by the lifetime guarantee.
- For storage, do not stack with other pots and pans to prevent scratching or chipping. Do not store with items inside pan.
CLEANING
- Wash before first use.
- Hand washing with warm soapy water and a nylon scrub brush is recommended to preserve the original appearance and enamel finish. Always cool a hot pan before cleaning. Thoroughly towel dry immediately. If preferred, cookware may be dishwashed.
- Dishwashing can dull the enameled finish over time. If the enamel finish dulls, this is not harmful and will not impair performance.
- For stuck-on foods, soak in soapy water and use a nylon scraper to remove any residue. Do not plunge a hot pan into cold water. Thermal shock may still occur, resulting in cracking or loss of enamel.
- Light stains or marks can be minimized by using an enamel cast iron cookware cleaner. Follow the cleaner’s instructions.
- To avoid damaging the enamel, do not use metallic pads or harsh abrasive cleaning agents.
- Never store pans while they are still damp. Store pans in a dry cupboard or airy space away from steam.
- To remove tough stains use a little warm vinegar.
- If the exposed cast iron rim has rust, lightly scour the affected area with steel wool, rinse, dry, and rub with vegetable oil.
TO USE
Oven use:
- Heat-safe up to 500°F (260°C).
Stovetop use:
- Do not season with oil as you typically would with cast iron cookware. Doing so will damage the enameled coating.
- Select a burner size that matches the diameter of the cookware base. For gas stoves, flames should not extend beyond base of cookware.
- Low-Medium Heat: Use when cooking to avoid damage to the cookware or coating. Cooking on a high-heat burner for prolonged periods may cause staining and/or uneven heating
- High Heat: Only use for boiling liquids.
- Do not slide, spin, or drag the pan over the surface of your stovetop, especially glass top ranges, as scratches may result on the cooking surface, and are not covered by the product guarantee.
- Preheat with oil, butter, or water. Use a small amount and evenly coat the inside surface each time you cook. Never heat your cookware empty or dry as this can results in property damage or injury. Avoid using extra virgin olive oil over high heat as it will burn and leave a thin carbonized layer on the surface.
- Do not use nonstick cooking sprays as it can damage the coating and be difficult to remove.
- Cast iron, which has superior heat retention, performs best when heated and cooled gradually. It rarely requires a high heat setting.
