Double Cheese Grits
Y'all gonna love this Southern favorite - it's doubly good!
- 4 cups milk
- 1 cup quick-cooking grits
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups (8 ounces) shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 ounce (1/4 cup) fresh Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 small garlic clove, pressed
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
Preheat oven to 350°F. In (4-qt.) Casserole, bring milk just to a boil over medium-high heat. Gradually add grits, stirring constantly with Nylon Spiral Whisk. Stir in salt. Reduce heat to medium-low; cover. Cook 5-7 minutes or until thickened, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat. Add cheddar cheese; stir until melted. Using Rotary Grater, grate Parmesan cheese; stir into grits. Press garlic into grits using Garlic Press. Stir in eggs. Pour mixture into Mini-Baking Bowl. Bake 40-45 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
