Herb & Onion Pot Roast
This one-pot meal comes together quickly thanks to our Herb & Onion Slow Cooker Seasoning and the Rockcrok® Slow Cooker Stand.
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp (15 mL) cooking oil
- 2 lbs (1 kg) beef chuck roast
- 1 medium onion
- 2 carrots
- 4 medium red potatoes
- 5 tbsp (75 mL) Herb & Onion Slow Cooker Seasoning
- 1½ cups (375 mL) water
Directions
Heat the oil in the Rockcrok® Dutch Oven over medium heat for 3–5 minutes. Add the beef to the Dutch oven and cook on all sides until it’s golden brown, about 8 minutes. Transfer the Dutch oven to the Rockcrok® Slow Cooker Stand.
Meanwhile, peel and dice the onion and carrots, then cut the potatoes into quarters. Add the vegetables to the pan with the beef.
Combine the Herb & Onion Slow Cooker Seasoning and water then pour it over the beef and vegetables.
Turn the Slow Cooker Stand to HIGH and cook for 4 hours, or to LOW and cook for 8 hours.
