Mini Italian Meat Loaves

These little meat loaves fit perfectly on the Small Bar Ban. The layer of marinara sauce seals in moisture so the meat loaves stay moist and flavorful.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons chopped onion
  • 8 ounces 90% lean ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons unseasoned dry bread crumbs
  • 1 small garlic clove, pressed
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian Seasoning Mix
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 cup refrigerated marinara sauce, divided
  • 1/4 cup (1 ounce) shredded Italian cheese blend

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Spray Small Bar Pan with nonstick cooking spray. Chop onion using Food Chopper. In Stainless (2-qt.) Mixing Bowl, combine onion, ground beef, bread crumbs, garlic pressed with Garlic Press, seasoning mix, salt and black pepper. Add 1/4 cup of the marinara sauce; mix lightly but thoroughly.

  2. Shape meat mixture into two small loaves and place on pan; top with remaining marinara sauce. Bake 25-30 minutes or until meat is no longer pink in centers and Digital Pocket Thermometer registers 160°F.

  3.  Sprinkle loaves with cheese; bake 1 minutes or just until cheese begins to melt. Remove from oven to serving plates.
