Mojito

Our Cuban mojito recipe is one of the most refreshing drinks around. It’s perfect for summer parties!

Ingredients

FOR ONE COCKTAIL FOR 8 COCKTAILS
  • ¾ oz. (20 mL) Simple Syrup or Gourmet Limoncello Syrup
  • 5 mint leaves, plus additional for garnish
  • ¾ oz. (20 mL) lime juice
  • 1½ oz. light rum
  • 2 cups (500 mL) ice, divided
  • 1 lime wedge (optional)
  • ¾ cup (175 mL) Simple Syrup or Gourmet Limoncello Syrup
  • 40 mint leaves, plus additional for garnish
  • ¾ cup (175 mL) lime juice
  • 1½ cups (375 mL) light rum
  • 16 cups (4 L) ice, divided
  • 8 lime wedges (optional)
  • • Combine the syrup and mint leaves in a cocktail shaker. Use a muddler until the mint is just fragrant. Add the juice and alcohol.
  • • Add 1 cup (250 mL) of the ice to the shaker, seal and shake vigorously.
  • • Add the syrup and mint leaves to a large pitcher. Use a muddler until the mint is just fragrant. Add the juice and alcohol; stir to combine.
  • • When ready to serve, add up to 12 oz. (350 mL) of the mixture to a cocktail shaker. Add ice, seal the shaker, and shake vigorously.

Directions

  1. Use the Cocktail Strainer to strain into chilled glasses filled with ice. Garnish with a lime wedge(s) and additional mint.
