Vampire Cheese Balls


  • 1 pkg (8 oz/250 g) cream cheese
  • 1  cup (250 mL) mozzarella cheese, grated
  • 1 tbsp (15 mL) Sweet Basil Rub
  •  Sesame seeds
  •  blue corn chips
  •  red bell pepper
  •  slivered almonds


  1. Combine cream cheese, mozzarella cheese and rub in a Small Batter Bowl. Line a Cookie Sheet with parchment paper and, using the Small Scoop, place about 24 level scoops of the cheese mixture onto the sheet.  
  2. Place white sesame seeds into a Coating Tray, roll the cheese balls into the seeds then return back to the sheet.  
  3. Use the corner of a blue corn chip for a widow’s peak and the rest of the chip for the cape, then add red bell pepper pieces for eyes. To really give this treat some bite, create fangs using almond slivers.
