Spicy Vodka Sauce
Ingredients:

tsp (1 mL) crushed red pepper flakes |

cup (50 mL) tomato paste |
| 1/3 |
cup (75 mL) vodka |
| 2/3 |
cup (150 mL) heavy whipping cream |

tbsp (15 mL) olive oil |

garlic clove, pressed |

Salt and coarsely ground black pepper to taste |

Cooked pasta, chicken or shrimp (optional) |
Directions:
| Place pepper flakes, tomato paste, vodka and cream into appropriate size bowl from Pinch Bowl Set. |
| Add oil to (1.5 qt/1.5 L) Saucepan; heat over medium-high heat 2-3 minutes or until shimmering. Add garlic; cook 30-45 seconds or until fragrant (do not brown). Add tomato paste; cook and stir 1-2 minutes or until tomato paste begins to caramelize. Add vodka and pepper flakes; cook 2 minutes or until mixture begins to thicken. Add cream; bring to a simmer and immediately remove from heat. Season to taste with salt and black pepper. Serve with pasta, chicken or shrimp, if desired. |
