Chocolate-Dipped Confetti Cones

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) milk chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup (60 mL) sprinkles or small candy decorations
  • 6   waffle cones
  • 12 scoops any flavor ice cream (3 cups/750 mL)

Directions

  1. Put the chocolate chips into the Classic Batter Bowl. Microwave, uncovered on HIGH for 30 seconds. Stir the chocolate. Microwave it again on HIGH for 30 seconds. Stir until the chocolate is melted and smooth. If the chocolate is not completely melted, microwave it for 30 seconds more.
  2. Put the sprinkles or candy decorations on a small paper plate. To make each cone, carefully tip the batter bowl toward you so that the chocolate pools in the batter bowl. Dip the top part of the cone into the chocolate mixture. Gently shake the cone to let the extra chocolate drip off.
  3. Roll the chocolate-covered end of the cone into the sprinkles. Put the cone chocolate-side up into a shallow glass so that the chocolate can harden. Dip the rest of the cones in the chocolate, following Step 2.
  4. Fill each cone with 2 scoops of your favorite ice cream.
