Voluntary Product Recall of Garlic Slicer (#1113), Sold Individually and as part of a Garlic Slicer Set (#2578), Between 1/1/2009 and 7/15/2011

The Pampered Chef has decided to voluntarily recall the garlic slicer (#1113), which was sold individually and also as part of a garlic slicer set (#2578), between January 1, 2009 and July 15, 2011. We have received some consumer reports that while using the garlic slicer, one of the blades affixed to the bottom of the unit dislodged and separated posing a potential safety risk. As you know, our priority is providing our customers with quality products they can trust. Therefore, we have decided to voluntarily recall the garlic slicer, including those purchased as part of a set, between January 1, 2009 and July 15, 2011, and offer a replacement.

The garlic slicer sold by The Pampered Chef after July 15, 2011 (including as part of the set) is not part of this recall. The picture below illustrates the two different models:
